Hi, I’m Barry.
Tech help with patience and no judgment.

After 25 years supporting some of the most demanding technology environments in American healthcare and industry, I decided to put that same expertise to work for the people in my own community — the ones who just need someone they can trust.

My Background

I have 25 years of experience in information technology — working across desktop support, network support, application support, and device integration in some of the most demanding environments in the country. That includes laptops, smartphones, desktops, wireless networks, and cloud environments, supporting the people who depend on them every day.

That career took me to major health systems including Mayo Clinic, UCLA Health, Stanford Health Care, Parkland Hospital, and Providence Health — supporting the technology that clinical teams rely on every day. When something stopped working in those environments, I was the one they called.

What 25 years in IT teaches you is that most technology problems are not mysterious — they just need someone patient enough to sit with them until they’re resolved, and honest enough to tell you clearly what’s happening and what it will take to fix it.

But the environment that matters most isn’t a hospital or a data center. It’s yours. Home technology fails constantly — not because it’s broken, but because of how it was set up, how it was configured, or simply because no one ever took the time to explain how it actually works. That’s exactly the problem I come to solve.

Why Trusted Tech at Home

As a senior myself, I know firsthand how frustrating it is when technology doesn’t work the way it should — and how hard it can be to find help that doesn’t make you feel rushed, judged, or talked down to.

I started Trusted Tech at Home because the people in my community deserve patient, expert help — the same kind large organizations pay top dollar for. Whether the problem is a printer that won’t connect, a phone that’s running slow, or an email that looks suspicious, the approach is always the same: listen carefully, explain clearly, and don’t leave until it makes sense.

The people I work with most — seniors staying connected with family, adult children helping a parent from a distance, home office workers who can’t afford to lose a day — all need the same thing: someone who actually shows up, listens, and gets it fixed. Not a call center. Not a ticket number.

I work alone. When you call, you get me. When I arrive at your home, it’s me. No dispatch, no subcontractors, no explaining your situation twice — just someone who already knows your setup every time you reach out.
