What this page is for

This is the fuller view of what Trusted Tech at Home can help with. The homepage remains the quick overview. This page gives you the more complete service breakdown.

  • Everyday device and Wi-Fi help
  • Telehealth, portals, and senior tech support
  • Home office and productivity help
  • Family planning and continuity services

How I can help

These categories reflect the kinds of issues people actually call about — from setup and Wi-Fi to family planning, telehealth, and remote-work problems.

Setup & Configuration

Get new technology working the way it should — the first time.

  • New computer setup (Windows, Mac, Chromebook) with migration from your old device
  • Smartphone and tablet setup, transfer, and personalization
  • Smart TV setup, streaming app configuration, and remote programming
  • Printer installation, wireless setup, and ongoing connection issues
  • Smart home devices such as Alexa, Google, Ring, Nest, smart plugs, and smart locks
  • Home office setup for remote workers and small-practice professionals
  • Patient one-on-one instruction — we don’t finish until you feel genuinely comfortable with your technology

Typical pricing: Standard in-home visit pricing applies — $120 for the first hour, then $50 per additional 30 minutes.

Home Network & Wi-Fi

A reliable home network is the foundation for everything else.

  • Wi-Fi assessment, mesh system installation, and dead-zone solutions
  • Router configuration, password security, and guest-network setup
  • Cellular signal troubleshooting and Wi-Fi calling configuration
  • Network separation for guests, IoT devices, and home offices

Typical pricing: Most Wi-Fi and router issues fall under the standard visit. Larger mesh deployments or whole-home redesigns are quoted by scope.

Online Safety & Account Help

Protect what matters most — accounts, identity, and peace of mind.

  • Antivirus installation and routine security scans
  • Password manager setup and guided maintenance
  • Two-factor authentication for banking, Medicare, and email
  • Scam-call, phishing-email, and suspicious-text screening
  • Credit freeze setup and identity-monitoring guidance
  • Account recovery and lockout resolution
  • Online bill pay guidance — I walk you through setting up payees and automatic payments. You type everything; I never see your passwords or account numbers.

Add-on when needed: “I’ll Call Support For You” is $95 while onsite, in addition to the standard visit fee.

Email, Video Calls & Family Sharing

Stay in touch with family — and comfortable doing it.

  • Email setup, organization, contact management, and attachment help
  • FaceTime, Zoom, and video-calling setup so you can see family clearly
  • Streaming service setup and consolidation — Netflix, Hulu, Prime, YouTube TV, Apple TV
  • Cord-cutting consultations to replace expensive cable with what you actually watch
  • Cloud backup for photos and documents — iCloud, Google, OneDrive
  • Photo organization, sharing, and digital photo frames preloaded with family photos
  • Shared family calendars and photo albums

Healthcare Technology

Specialized help most tech services cannot offer — drawn from years working inside health systems.

  • MyChart and patient portal setup across hospital systems
  • Telehealth pre-flight: camera, mic, and app tested before your appointment
  • Hearing-aid app pairing — ReSound, Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, and others
  • Medical-device sync — Dexcom, Libre, blood pressure cuffs, smart scales, and pulse oximeters
  • Medication reminder app setup

Typical pricing: Portal setup, telehealth prep, and patient-device help usually fall under the standard in-home visit rate.

Continuity Plan

A premium planning service for households where one person manages most of the important devices, accounts, monthly services, and recovery information.

You decide what is documented, what is shared now, and what is meant to be accessible later. Passwords and sensitive credentials remain under your control at all times.

Learn About the Continuity Plan

Pricing: Continuity planning is discussed and scoped based on the household, devices, and level of organization needed.

Family Peace-of-Mind Services

For adult children, spouses, and families who want more clarity and less scrambling later.

  • Family Tech Continuity planning for devices, accounts, and access pathways
  • Snowbird two-home setup for Wi-Fi, streaming, and household continuity
  • Moving and downsizing transitions with technology moved and reconfigured when you do
  • Family coordination setup — shared calendars, Find My or Life360, photo sharing
  • Remote check-ins for ongoing questions

Ongoing support options: Quarterly Check-In visits are $169, or $640 prepaid for four visits over one year. Same-day priority scheduling is a $40 add-on when available.

Tech Move-In Concierge

Everything working. Day One. No stress.

Moving is one of the top five most stressful life events. Don’t add “fighting with the Wi-Fi” or “re-logging into 6 TVs” to the list. We handle the entire digital transition so you can walk into a fully functional home.

  • Pre-Move Assessment & Prep ($169): We visit your current home before the movers arrive. We document passwords, label equipment, and pack your “Tech Priority Box” so setup at the new home is smoother. Book this first and apply 50% ($85) toward any Move-In package.
  • Essential Move-In ($395): Best for senior living apartments or 1–2 bedroom homes. Whole-home Wi-Fi, up to 2 TVs, primary computer, printer, and mobile device reconnection. Includes a patient Day One walkthrough before we leave.
  • Whole-Home Deployment ($695): Best for 3–4 bedroom family homes. Mesh Wi-Fi optimization, up to 4 TVs, smart doorbell or camera, home office docking station, and a priority password audit across all devices.
  • Custom Estate Move (Quote): Large smart homes, Sonos/audio systems, 5+ smart devices, or full home-office infrastructure. Starts at $1,200.

Note: All packages assume your internet provider has already activated service at the new address. Arriving to an inactive line incurs a Provider Liaison Fee of $150.

What I don’t do

I’m a setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and training service — not a repair shop. I do not do hardware repair, screen replacement, deep component replacement on aging machines, or forensic-style recovery from failed drives. If a device has reached the end of its useful life, I’ll tell you honestly and help you choose and set up the next one.

Not sure where your situation fits?

That is normal. Many calls start with a simple question and turn out to involve more than one issue.

If you are not sure whether you need a standard visit, a home-office session, or something more specialized, reach out and I’ll help point you in the right direction.
